Metaphor in Foreign Language Instruction

The importance of figurative language in L2 instruction has fascinated applied cognitive linguists for the past three decades. This volume gathers some of the latest research in this field with both theoretical chapters and empirical studies that touch upon issues of continuing relevance to the discipline, introduce areas in need of further research and illustrate methodological challenges and best practice when analyzing metaphor in an L2.
