This is a nice book of small or short daily meditations for a beginner. There is a variety of things to meditate on, some are pretty common and others I've never seen before. I would like if they were categorized by subject. So many of them are for a certain emotion you might be experiencing that day but if you're not angry or afraid of something you will want to pass on to another topic. There is info in the beginning that is a quick read to introduce you to mediation and benefits. I like that the author acknowledged that meditation can be for anyone including religions like Christianity. There hasn't been anything so far in this that makes me feel like it isn't aligning with my beliefs. I'm not finished but have enjoyed so far although it is more for a beginner.
