My First Summer in the Sierra

My First Summer in the Sierra, is the story of John Muir¿s time spent working in the foothills of Californiäs Sierra Nevada mountain range in late 1869. Joining a crew of shepherds, Muir worked tirelessly, not only supporting the efforts of the group, but vocalizing the need for environmental stewardship.
