Dalaina was searching for wild magic, but found so much more. Companionship, friendship, and a fated mate in the arms of Luke. But with war looming and the anti-human sentiment rising in both their worlds, having a human mate makes their quest far more dangerous. She'll have to learn how to master her elven heritage while on the run from the very people she is trying to save.
Luke was always interested in the Fae, and when an elf named Dalaina runs past him while escaping a human city, he can't help but follow. Something inside him burns to claim her, but he's human without magic of his own to help her and their companions on their quest for wild magic. Armed with only a book and a magic backpack, he will do his best to fight for her when the world around them descends into chaos.
As the two set off on an adventure with their two companions, their worlds test their loyalty and their love. Two worlds that are supposed to be at war clash when fate takes things into their own hands.
