Pollig the Goblin lives in Fortress Dread which trundles across the land, destroying anything in its way and stealing all the treasure it comes across.
Pollig the Goblin doesn't get to do much of the destroying. And he doesn't get to keep ANY of the treasure. His job is to clean up the mess left behind.
And in a fortress full of strange monsters and magical potions there's always a lot of cleaning up to do.
