As the sole survivors of the media dubbed "Mime Murders", John and Samantha had been the number one suspects. Though they were quickly cleared of all charges, the damage had been done. No longer feeling welcome in the town they grew up in, they left Riverside behind.
It had been long enough for things to start getting back to normal, despite the blood that still stained the streets. Most folks were eager to pick up the pieces and move on. Others lived in fear that the evil would come home.
