  I have shared this book with my brother, mom and close friend...and everyone has loved it so far! A very digestible and friendly read. Direct, to the point notes that you can apply instantly to improve you day to day communication. I'm a pretty outspoken person, but even I found new useful tips, such as not ruining a compliment by being overly opinionated.

  This book was a very easy read but it managed to explain the concept behind the theories of small talk really well. I was a communication major in high school so I am well versed on this topic and the read was still a good one. I felt as though even after studying at university I was still able to pull interesting pieces of information from this text. The author offered lots of ways to navigate small talk situations as well as how to transform your conversations away from "How's the weather", or "Did you see the game last night?" I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who feels they struggle with interpersonal communication, or would like to be a more well rounded communicator. Would definitely recommend.

  A quick well written book for growing in professional and personal communications.
  This book touches on how to keep it professional as well as personable, taking your weaknesses and making them strengths. There are many suggestions to help you overcome the external obstacles along with our own personal internal battles we face. I enjoyed it will be looking back for reminders.
