About Studies in Genesis 1-11
"Get Genesis right and you will be well on your way to a solid understanding of the Word of God."
-Vance Pitman, Senior Pastor, Hope Church, Las Vegas, NV
R. David Skinner presents a captivating, verse-by-verse commentary on Genesis 1-11 using a literal interpretation of Scripture with analyses of evolutionary thought. Genesis contains the record of God's creation and the beginning of civilization on earth. If one misses the foundational truths found in Genesis, other important biblical truths become more difficult to understand. In all ways, Genesis is foundational. Not surprisingly, Genesis and the Creation account have become the preeminent battleground for skeptics. Skinner's commentary is an essential resource for students, pastors, Bible teachers, and all believers who want to share boldly and defend their faith.
Studies in Genesis 1-11 Addresses These Foundational Issues (and more):
How old is the earth?
How long were the Creation days?
How could the entire earth be covered by water?
What about prehistoric ages, including Neanderthals/cave men?
Can one believe in evolution and in the literal Genesis account of Creation?
Where does the theory of evolution fit into the origin of the universe and of man?
