The Alternative

Is there an alternative to death? What if you could start over, and know
what you know now?
Steve McNeal was presented with the opportunity to do just that-to
live his fantasy. His was an unusual fantasy though. He didn't want to
simply go back in time and relive his life. Being young again was only
part of his fantasy. It involved something else-to live a totally different
life. He didn't want to be Steve McNeal again, but he didn't want to
forget him either.
Steve wasn't sure who had made the offer or what price would be tallied
on the final bill, but he didn't care. He accepted The Alternative.
