The Aurora Children

The Aurora Children science fiction novel is suitable for young adults and adults. It covers scientific ideas such as space travel, the development of supercomputers with quantum emitters, molecules derived from living systems and germline genetic engineering.
Aliens are already on Earth. They were stranded here thousands of years ago and are working to reinvent the space folding interstellar drive to return them home. Two gifted teenagers are enlisted to help them, but Jed's task is fraught with danger. With his girlfriend, Lianne, they overcome conspiracy and attempted murder and discover who they really are.
