The Leap

Earth is expecting yet another ice age-a global whiteout in which little will be saved. In a battle to outrun Mother Nature, the United Nations gathers 35,000 of the world's best and brightest professionals to man a self-contained spaceship they've dubbed the Enterprise. Four miles long and with a radius of more than three-quarters of a mile, the ship has the ability to travel unimaginable distances and make great leaps into the galaxy.
When the travelers embark on this epic journey in January of the year 2120, they have no idea what the future holds and what they will find in the far reaches of outer space. Will they meet other intelligent life forms? Will they encounter planets not previously known to them? Should they expect hostile actions?
Enterprise and its inhabitants have one clear goal: save humanity from extinction and create a new beginning for mankind. Only time will tell if they are able to save the human race.
