The Monster in the Darkness

Agnes Cromwell had lived on her mountain in Gentry Hills, California for close to thirty-years. During that time, she had been haunted by a monster that had stalked her, causing the older woman to live in fear. She said the beast was a large vicious cougar that was impossible to kill, yet she was the only person that had ever seen it. For several years, cowboys following the rodeo circuit disappeared from Gentry Hills, never to be seen again. Could it have been the cougar on Agnes' mountain that was responsible?
