The Mountain Crown

Meka has returned from her exile for an ancient, necessary rite: culling a king dragon of the Crown Mountains. Crossing the plains with Lilley, a veteran of the war that colonised her people, and Raka, a traitor to her people, Meka's journey is filled with dangers within and without. As conflict threatens to reignite, the survival of her people, their dragons, and the land itself will depend on the choices – defiant or compliant – that Meka and her companions make.
