With thoughts of revenge and suffering rolling through her head the last thing she needs is to be distracted. Especially by one of the Guardians keeping her imprisoned in this very cell. And yet, there is a connection between them that even she can not deny.
Vlad, the keeper of Madness, had spent years as an unfeeling monster. That was until their newest prisoner came to stay. Kenna gets under his skin, but worst of all she is awakening his cold, dead heart and making him feel once more. She triggers something inside of him that he had thought long buried, and now he is determined to free her, no matter the cost.
