The book which introduces the universe of Ali Noel Vyain by introducing her alter ego Silver Moon Unicorn. She is an elf/human who is broke, in debt and out of options. She decides to take the insane option of becoming a traveling bard. She learns to work on her own as she has adventures and ends up with a tiny neko son.
