The Sword of Vines

Mina Woodenhorn has wanted to go to Dormriams, School of Magic for as long as she can remember. Finally the time has come when she reaches the year she turns fifteen. Ready to set off to school and meet people for the first time, all Mina has to worry about is passing her classes, getting good grades, making friends and gaining control over her magic. The only thing Mina is unprepared for is the darkness that looms in the corners and the shadows, watching her, speaking her name.
