Yeonsu's world tilts on its axis when in the midst of a showdown, he learns the Resistance believes the Union was behind the alien attack on Han. And his life changes even more when he discovers that one of the Resistance leaders he has been chasing-the White Raven-is his ex-wife, Cassie. The woman he thought was dead.

Forced to reckon with this new reality, Yeonsu confronts his grandfather, a Union commander, about the tragedy of Han. What he learns leads him to make a decision that sets a series of events in motion between the Resistance and the Union, humans and aliens.
