Tiger was all alone in the world, until one lucky day, when he ran into a little girl's yard, seeking escape from mean neighborhood boys who were chasing and teasing him. Read along as Tiger dresses up in costumes, takes an unwanted bath, defends his territory from another neighborhood cat, and uses one of his nine lives to overcome an illness that threatens to take him away from his new life with his adopted family.
