Tragic Narrative

This study of Sophocles' "Oedipus at Colonus" demonstrates the applicability of contemporary narrative models to drama. The text is presented as uniquely rich, deftly using the figure and history of blind Oedipus to explore some of the basic narratological concerns of Greek tragedy.
