Understand that to read this book is not to cross the line and find yourself in an enemy land; no, to continue on is to be made aware that you have lived your entire life in an enemy land. An unseen war rages all about you and it is my task to open your eyes to it. To see this war is to join it. Everyone can fight, but not everyone will.
