Emily Cross had two friends growing up. Paxton Johnson and Robert Klein. The three of them were inseparable all the way up to high school when the two boys began to fight. She was caught in the middle and didn't know what to do so she did the only thing she could. She picked one. Robbie.
Four years later at the beginning of senior year she begins to question all her choices one of those choices, giving up on Love.
Pax turn cold and heartless after Emily's rejection and was now the schools loner bad ass. Sure he had a group of friends, not like Robbie and Emily, and could have any girl he wanted, but they weren't her.
