Finally living in his native Rwanda after the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi, Patrick Karangwa answered a calling to start an organization that would foster peace and reconciliation, and empower the youth. In 2012, when he saw an influx of Congolese refugees entering Rwanda to escape armed conflict, his vision expanded. He knew he could help them with the compassion they needed, because he had once been a refugee himself.
