  I teach career courses for university undergrad students. I selected this as a textbook because it is up-to-date (2018) with the most recent concepts of resume design and job search engines. Career preparation is new to most undergrads and I like how basic this book is to get them started. I am especially impressed with the comprehensive list of Job Boards that align with multiple industries or majors.

  This book is quick read. From the book's title, I was bracing for some magic sauce or secret method, but far from it, the advice felt common sense, clear and actionable - almost in bullet point format. Some useful example letters included, but definitely on the light side.
