My Journey

My Journey is a true story about the life of the author and the village where he grew up. In 1940, the Italians started war with Greece and in 1941, Germany invaded Greece. In 1944, the Greek Rebels started a civil war and it went on until 1949. The Country was in a state of severe depression. From 1945-1950 the United States came to the rescue of Greece supplying it with food, money and clothing and trying to get it back on it''s feet.
