He was not a fan of swimming and so he had the White House pool President Kennedy used frequently & vigorously (with friends) covered, and the room was converted into a new Press Briefing Room in 1970. Nixon ran a failed orange juice business called the Citra-Frost Company in the late 1930's. The Steins & Nixons were/are good friends; Julie Nixon Eisenhour in particular. Ben Stein is still good friends with his boyhood friend from the neighborhood: Carl Bernstein.
